The Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental
Assistance recognizes that waste reduction training is a critical and
integral element of any waste management program. It is critical to North
Carolina's waste reduction effort.
In response to this need, DPPEA has enhanced its outreach
and training services to provide appropriate and timely training programs for
its customers: industries, local governments, state agencies, trade
organizations, professional organizations, citizen groups, et al.
DPPEA's staff of professionals is available to conduct
various types of training to meet specific needs. Subject content can range
from the fundamentals of waste reduction to pollution prevention training for
specific processes and/or waste types to courses on topics of particular
environmental concern.
